About Portland Lighting
Since 1994 we have been supplying high quality outdoor lighting with both the strength and durability to withstand the effects of the elements and today's environment.
Modern manufacturing techniques enable us to produce LED lighting at very competitive prices, often on a next-day delivery basis.
In November 2019 we moved to our new factory in Walsall. The 15,000 sq.ft facility includes a brand new powder coating plant with 9m pass through oven, ensuring high quality finishes and ever faster turn around for non standard colours.
We are the number one UK LED lighting manufacturer, including trough, sign, hospitality, neon, flood, cowl, globe, lantern, home, patio, leisure, camping and outdoor lighting. We have been providing excellent products and service to businesses, consumers and households in the UK and further afield for over 25 years.
As part of our sustainable strategy, we have installed solar panels with Ineco Energy to power our site with clean, renewable energy. We are passionate about considering the environment at every stage of our work and playing our part in the fight against climate change. Harnessing the power of the sun through this clean energy solution contributes to our sustainability goals, ensuring our manufacturing processes are as efficient and eco-friendly as possible. The solar PV system from Ineco Energy includes a monitoring portal, giving compete visibility of site consumption and site production. On one day, 90% of our entire energy was delivered by the solar panels.
A policy of continued product development also ensures that our position as one of the UK's leading lighting specialists is maintained.
We are a part of the FW Thorpe Plc Group and are also proud members of the Lighting Industry Association (LIA), and corporate members of the Institution of Lighting Professionals (ILP).
