Our Testing
All of Portland Lighting's lighting products are independently electrical safety tested and CE certified as required by law.
Each light is individually tested for earth continuity, insulation resistance and function, then logged with its unique number prior to despatch for complete traceability. This log test result is recorded onto the delivery note so the client has a record.
Our IP ratings are independently tested by the Lighting Industry Association at their laboratories giving added reasurrance to our clients that legal requirements are met to exacting standards. This further endorses Portland Lighting's pedigree as the leading supplier of sign lighting, trough lighting and hospitality lighting products in the UK.
We are also now certified for ISO 9001 (in recognition of the organisation's Quality Management System for the design, manufacture and supply of lighting products), ISO 14001 (in recognition of the organisation's Environmental Management System for the design, manufacture and supply of lighting products) and ISO 45001 (in recognition of the organisation's Health and Safety Management System for the design, manufacture and supply of lighting products), all of which we are very proud of.
