The Ecolux is the latest addition to our Ecolux LED Range, delivering exceptional performance as one of the UK’s most advanced full-size trough lighting systems. Purpose-built for modern signage, the Ecolux provides powerful, energy-efficient illumination suitable for retail, hospitality and commercial applications across the country — including pubs, bars, cafés, restaurants, shop fronts, supermarkets, petrol stations, breweries and more.
Fitted with our new multi-bracket system, the Ecolux offers a double-slotted design with a built-in chamber that allows installers to switch instantly between horizontal and vertical fixing positions. This smart adaptability eliminates awkward mounting issues, making installation faster and more reliable on any fascia.
Installers also benefit from a unique spring-clip rapid-fix mechanism, positioned within the rear channel of the fitting. The clip slides smoothly along the body and locks onto the retaining point of the bracket, giving a secure, tool-light fixing method: ideal for cold or challenging site conditions. This simple but clever innovation provides one of the quickest and most versatile installation solutions available on any LED trough light in the UK.
The ECOLUX goes further by incorporating precision-cast aluminium end caps with concealed rear-entry cable management, ensuring a clean, professional finish with no visible wiring. An IP68 connector is neatly housed within a dedicated cast-aluminium chamber, seated in a stepped grommet to allow cables to pass freely and safely through longer runs.
As with all Portland Lighting products, the Ecolux has been independently tested and certified by the Lighting Industry Association laboratories, with documentation available upon request. Full photometric data, compatible with RELUX and DIALUX lighting design software, is also available to download from the Ecolux LED Range.
Engineered with a 58mm low-carbon aluminium extrusion, MAKROLON RE 90° magnifying lens, high-efficacy 195 lm/W LED strip, and Tier 1 Meanwell driver technology, the ECOLUX delivers outstanding efficiency, uniformity and durability in a sleek, contemporary enclosure.
